Smashbox Cosmetics was created by Dean & Davis Factor, great grandsons of make-up legend Max Factor.  Smashbox began when Dean & Davis, two very unique entrepreneurs combined their talent & heritage to create Smashbox Photo Studios in 1991.

With a slew of starlets passing through the studios on a daily basis, Dean & Davis were frequently asked to create a makeup line that met the perfecting needs of a photo shoot. And so in 1996, Dean a business guru with an MBA and Davis a leading celebrity and fashion photographer decided to create Smashbox Cosmetics. 

Since then the brand has become one of the most successful cosmetic brands globally and is also highly regarded for its innovative and problem solving products for women everywhere.
